Williston Lake Resort is situated in the foothills of the Northern Rocky Mountains, on the shores of the largest reservoir in Canada. The reservoir was formed forty years ago, with the construction of BC Hydro?s W.A.C. Bennett Dam. Tours of the dam and adjacent underground powerhouse are available daily during the summer. It is an honour to share this special place with our guests. Here you can watch all these animals far away from which also in Canada observe starting mass tourism, in their natural surrounding area. Directly in front of our Lodge mule deer, whitetail deer wapiti elk and moose quiet often graze peacefully. You will experience amazing moments, full of peace. |

Williston Lodge is a traditionally styled log cabin. It’s hand hewn pine logs showcase the wood’s natural beauty. The Lodge could be considered both a feat of engineering and a work of art. The great room, with its cozy stone fireplace, is the perfect place to relax after an active day. Perhaps you will enjoy a drink at the hand-crafted bar. Our restaurant offers memorable dinners in an intimate atmosphere. In one of her six standards and three Economy rooms, in one of two suites -The junior suite and The Family suite which are bright and comfortable you will feel immediately at home. All rooms are furnished tastefully and the standard comfort of High speed Internet access, which is free. All suites are equipped, in addition, with a Jacuzzi as well as a comfortable living-room furniture. |

The campfire is an important part of life at Williston Lake Resort. At the end of long summer days, we meet around the fire pit to share stories of the day’s adventures and forge plans for the coming day. If you can pull yourself way from this place of good cheer and good food, lie back on the grass and gaze up at the starry sky. If you are lucky, you may also enjoy the majesty of the flickering northern lights.
Sun deck The sun drenched deck offers a breathtaking view of Williston Lake and Mount Gething. Conference room While many our guests visit the Lodge for adventure or solitude, we can also host up to 40 people for business meetings or private parties. We can take care of any catering requirements. For a true retreat, consider renting the entire lodge. In our restaurant you are spoiled in the evening with the European and Canadian cuisine. Our lusciousness passes from nouvelle-cuisine in a Candlelight dinner up to the cowboy\'s goulash in the campfire. Our Chef is always prepared to surprise his guests with extravagant and season-appropriate menus. He uses only fresh products, if always possibly. Daily we offer beside the varied card a Day-Special-Menu. The restaurant from which you have a fantastic view of the lake and the mountains orders more than 24 seats and can be also used for seminars or company meetings. |
