Alder Road Retreat is a peaceful, comfortable place to stay while visiting Victoria, Sidney area and Vancouver Island. Located a few minutes from both the Swartz Bay ferry terminal and the Victoria airport, it is a great jumping off or jumping in spot when visiting the Island.

The Retreat is snuggled in a forested valley, next to a busy 5 acre wildlife pond, in the northern tip of the Saanich Peninsula. The gardens are beautiful; the view and ambiance are wonderful. The Retreat features a beautiful deck area, walking paths, lovely gardens and a spacious common area with fireplace.

Delicious self-served breakfast is available daily.

The rooms include:
  • We have three guest rooms. 1 king, 1 queen & 1 queen with single beds in the different rooms.
  • King &/or Queen size beds with "feather bed" liner and hypo-allergenic down duvet. Fresh silky sheets, linens and pillows.
  • Ensuite bathrooms with deep tub, separate shower and heated tile floor.
  • Expansive garden and pond views from the rooms and a private exterior entrance with direct access to the garden level deck.
